My Top 20 Favorite Actors

Last weekend I had some spare time (and a notebook and pencil), so I made a list of m top 20 actors. This seemed like a fitting post to formally begin my blog, listing my favorites so you will have an idea of what you'll be reading about here. I decided to include my favorite role for each actor as well, not nesicarily my favorite movie, just favorite role. Now onto the list:

1. James Stewart

Favorite Role: (I have two for Jimmy, because it was impossible for me to choose just one. ;) George Bailey in It's A Wonderful Life and Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey.

2. Fred Astaire

Favorite role: Petrov in Shall We Dance

3. Cary Grant

4. Henry Fonda

Favorite role: Peter Ames in The Mad Miss Manton


5. Frank Sinatra

Favorite role: Charlie Reader in The Tender Trap


6. Joseph Cotten

Favorite role: Uncle Charlie in Shadow Of A Doubt


7. Clark Gable

Favorite role: Dennis Carson in Red Dust


8. Humphrey Bogart

These are not in any specific order or anything. After the first three I just started naming people who came to my mind. Mainly because my top three never change and the rest do quite often. I'm sure I forgot some people, too. I'm going to do a post like this for my favorite actresses as well, so watch for that next.
